Rebecca is the Founder and CEO of Magpie Literacy and Program Director at AERDF’s Reading Reimagined. As former Assistant Superintendent of Academics in Louisiana, she helped redesign the state’s assessment system, develop a nationally validated ELA curriculum, and train thousands of teacher leaders. Her leadership drove record-high outcomes in graduation, college enrollment, and credentialing, while Louisiana became the fastest-improving state on Advanced Placement and ranked in the top ten nationally for NAEP growth.
