Leo leads growth and strategy for Magpie, bringing a background in education, philanthropy, and research. Previously a partner at NewSchools Venture Fund, he worked to reimagine the student experience. He also served as VP of Customer Success and Chief of Staff at Schoolzilla, and earlier as a school psychologist, teacher, and consultant across diverse settings. Leo holds a PhD in Educational Psychology from UC Berkeley and Psychology and Sociology degrees from the University of Georgia. He has served on the boards of Family Violence Law Center and Oregon Humanities, reflecting his deep commitment to community engagement.
