Lauren has been interested in the intersection of reading and books, young people, and tech and innovation since she was 20 years old. She has a Master’s in Education from the Stanford School of Education (STEP program), and taught secondary English in a Santa Clara public school. She has both an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a law degree from Northwestern Law. She was most recently the Head of Product at Epic Books for Kids, which is currently used in 91% of classrooms, and worked with kids’ reading at scale and has experience building 0 –> 1 innovations that capture kids’ imaginations.
