Winnie directs evaluation and research at Magpie, with more than 15 years of experience improving educational outcomes through data and policy. She previously served as Senior Program Area Director for Education at Child Trends and as P–12 Research Director at The Education Trust. Winnie’s expertise bridges rigorous research with actionable insights for schools and systems. She has also advanced civic engagement, serving on the board of Asian Americans Advancing Justice–Atlanta to expand voter participation. Winnie holds a PhD in psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is passionate about ensuring research drives impact for all students.
