Cyrena leads Magpie’s K–2 work, drawing on more than two decades of experience in product innovation, strategy, and education technology. She previously directed Khan Academy Kids, an award-winning early learning platform, and led product and business development at Duck Duck Moose, building beloved children’s learning apps. Cyrena has also held senior leadership roles at ServiceNow and BJ’s Restaurants, as well as strategic roles at The Walt Disney Company and Morgan Stanley. With an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S.E. from Princeton, she combines sharp business acumen with a passion for joyful, research-based learning that empowers young readers.
